In October of 1957, 12 local farmers joined together to form an agricultural cooperative and named it Ag Coop Services. Headquartered in Sedalia, the Coop represented a wide demographic area including Cole, Callaway, Cooper, Howard, Johnson, Moniteau, Morgan and Pettis counties. The purpose of the new coop was to conduct an agricultural and mercantile business in a cooperative business plan.
Fast forward to today and we find a multi branch farm supplies coop that is prospering, meeting the needs of its farmer owners and providing more and more products and services into the consumer market. With branch locations at Boonville, LaMonte, Sedalia, Otterville and Prairie Home; Missouri, Ag Coop still provides those products and services that local farmers need and desire.
Today, you do not have to be a member to enjoy the benefits that the Coop offers as evidenced by the many city and urban families that do business with the Coop. The Coop offers a diverse product line which includes its core businesses of fertilizer, chemicals, feed, gas, diesel and propane (LP gas). The Coop handles a wide variety of specialty products from garden seed to equine products and welcomes the opportunity to meet your needs, whatever they might be.
